The 2005
Hughson Car Show website will be undergoing some annual overhaul
during the next few weeks. We have been busy in the back ground
making arrangements in order to make the 2005 show the best ever.
|
BIG CHANGE HERE...
Over the years, the 3rd
weekend of May has been traditionally the weekend of the
Hughson Fruit & Nut Festival. Not in 2005... due to May
starting on a Sunday, the weekend was counted and the dates
May 14th & 15th, 2005 were announced in applications given to
vendors at the close of the 2004 Festival. With that done,
when the error of the wrong weekend was discovered 2 months
ago, it was determined that half of the vendors were already
locked into the dates we gave them. So we (Festival
Committee) notified the Chamber Board of Directors of the
error and a final decision was made to hold the 2005 Festival
on the 14th & 15th even though it is not the 3rd weekend. So,
for the first time, any of you who have always gone to the
Chocolate Festival in Oakdale, you can join us at the Fruit &
Nut Festival. The Chocolate Festival will be the weekend
after our festival. |
The 2005
T-shirt will again be combination T-shirt between the Festival &
the Car Show, like it was in 2004. Last years shirt was very
successful, so we decided to do it again. We are way ahead of time
this year.... here's the T-shirt design for the upcoming 2005
Festival & Show... |

We have
made a number of other changes for 2005, but need time to finalize some
of the things before we announce them... So mark your calendars for
may 14th & 15th, 2005 and join is in Hughson for 2005 Hughson Fruit & Nut
Festival Car Show...

The T-shirts were designed and

California.
This year, for the first time, the
Car Show and Festival joined together
to create one design that really
covered both parts of the festival.
